Super friendly staff. I was discharged from hospital a week ago and I wasnt able to schedule with my PCP until next month but Douglas made sure I was able to be seen within a week of me being discharged with a different doctor- Melanie L. Mendoza, FNP-C and she is awesome!!! Very polite! Her energy was calm and positive as she smiled the whole time she seen me. I'm originally from Dallas and I have to say Christus Health has provided exceptional service and support. Thank you guys!

Visited Dr. Walraven today trying to establish a new physician. She was very knowledgeable & explained everything where I could understand it. She spent time with me & addressed all of my concerns. The staff was very friendly too. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor.

Poor Scheduling and Communication - referred over for an emergency gal-bladder surgery and got nothing but rude responses and no communication from Kathy in scheduling - she said the first request wasn't good enough and they needed a scan, got the scan, said she never received and I could not bring a disk to the appt. after 3 more attempts from my PCD to send the referral again and jumping through hoops to get another image done - she said as I had to call them again!!!! over and over - 0 communication from their side p she confirmed OH WE GOT IT and I can schedule you for the end of March. WTH!! I am sure the dr. is great however, y'all need to check your help!!

Very unprofessional office . One of the nurses BLEW my partner’s phone up because the “doctor” wanted to see him in order to refill his prescription, so they scheduled an appointment! We live 2 hours from Tyler so this was definitely a trip where we needed to take the day off. I called the day before the appointment to ask them to email me a piece of paper with some information and the nurse said she’d send the doctor a message. She then calls me back 2 hours later to let me know that the doctor dismissed him as a patient and sent a dismissal letter last month (did not receive it) but due to him “supposedly” seeing another physician in our area. NOT TRUE , he has not seen another doctor. So i asked her why did they call him so many times to schedule an appointment , she couldn’t give me an answer, just a bunch of attitude. I then asked to speak with the doctor, she said “no” , obviously there’s no communication because then he called to confirm his appointment and another nurse confirmed it and said they still had him down for the appointment. We repeated everything that had just happened so then she confirmed I’m assuming with someone else that he was terminated as a pt. Just a horrible experience. He was seeing this same doctor for years and that’s why he hadn’t transferred care.

This clinic is the worst! I set up my husband a new patient appointment almost a week ago. He shows up for his appointment and the nurses that checked him in told him he had to go downstairs and get some new patient forms. The nurse downstairs said laughed at him and said she did not know what he was talking about. He went upstairs and the nurse said that they must have ran out, as she laughed at him, that upset him because he felt like they were making fun of him. Another nurse came out and got him all checked in, then another nurse from down the hall yells and says that he will not be seen today because The Dr. does not see new patients on Tuesday. They had almost a whole week to inform him of this and have us appointment changed. But they did not do that. Instead they McKinley informed him that he would not be seen today because she does not see new patients on Tuesdays. My husband politely showed them several times all of the text messages and emails confirming his appointment for today and that he took off today so that he could be seen. He has not had his high blood pressure meds for months because his daughter left and never transferred him to a new Dr. this is not the first time this clinic has been rude to my husband, but I can guarantee you it will be the last! Any nurses that purposely mock or make fun of patients should not have their job. ?

I give 4 stars only because of the negative experience I had over the phone with the lady who scheduled my appointment. Other wise five stars would go toward Fuquay, who is the only practitioner that understands my personal ailments and diagnosis. I don’t appreciate the illusion of being called a liar about multiple cancellations when I shared that another lady cancelled and scheduled different dates while we were planning the best date for me over the phone. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.i

We went up there for an EKG, they fell behind and instead of taking people by order of their appointments, the nurse came out and said, "We'll be taking the vaccinated first.". That is discrimination and I do not appreciate it at all!! I have all my vaccines except the covid but because I didn't have it I had to wait. No one should have to deal with being treated as a 2nd class citizen especially for a personal decision made about their personal health! That's like saying "people who's never had abortions, go first." That should NOT be any medical providers concern when it comes to doing their freaking job!
